With 16 years of experience running an award-winning lighting studio for an international, full-service AE firm, Sara specializes in architectural lighting design, project management, and team alignment. She can work as a complement to any team, and particularly enjoys meeting facilitation, peer reviews, and client engagement + education.

Be it panel moderation, writing technical + op-ed articles, or working with the Lytei team on the Lytepod podcast, Sara loves to eXplore the intersections of light + life.

Sara brings an open mindset, years of management and operational/ organizational training, and acute emotional intelligence to the table. She gets excited about helping people and teams be and do their best. She offers exploratory feedback sessions focused on project process improvement, product development and market delivery, workshops for managing creative employees, and training for strategic planning, as well as team and 1:1 coaching.

From delivering topical keynotes, to hosting awards events, to commercial voice-over work, she enjoys the opportunity to lend her energy to new ideas and great causes.

Sara is a passionate advocate for STE(A)M outreach and uses the platform of winning the Netflix TV show Baking Impossible to spread awareness about careers in lighting and engineering whenever she can.
Inspiration, Ideas, + Imagination...
Sara is inspired by so many things, so she tries to leave space and time in her life to follow her gut on new and exciting ventures. Some adventures so far include: creating customized chocolate creations and client experiences at showrooms and tradeshows, developing K-12 STEM and lighting outreach programs, and designing summer camp-style programs aimed at stimulating and increasing the lighting design community pipeline.
